Printing Inks & Varnishes
 

           

Nitro - cellulose Inks isipac 400

Description:
Thermal inks based on nitro - cellulose used for printing on flexo and roto machines.

Characteristics:
1- High resistance to scratch and friction .
2- High gloss and maintained strong colours.
3- Light resistant.
4- Used at high temperatures up to 200˚ C.

Drying time:
Air drying within one minute using the heater in the printing machine.

Gloss:
High gloss - 90 % at angle 60˚ C on gloss instrument .

Application:
Used for printing on polyethylene films ( LDPE - HDPE ) – polyester- polypropylene - all types of paper . use isipac thinner 246/130 at 30 %  for dilution .

Colours:
All basic colours : White - Yellow - Red  (Magenta - Marlboro , …) Blue ( Cyan -Reflex ) - Green - Black Any other colours upon request.

Package:
20 kg. , or any others .

Shelflife:
12 months if stored in a dry cold place . 

 

Poly amide Inks isipac 500

Description: Low temperature inks based on polyamide polymer for printing using flexo-graphic or roto grapher machines.

Characteristics:
1- High gloss and maintained strong colours.
2- Used at low temperatures.
3-Resists scratch and friction.
4- No smell.

Drying time:
Air drying in few minutes according to the type of heater used in printing machine.

Gloss:
High gloss - 90 % at angle 60˚ on gloss instrument.

Application:
Used for printing on polyethylene films( LDPE - HDPE ) and on polypropylene films using thinner isipac 246 at
30 %.

Colours:
All basic colour : White - Yellow - Black Red ( magenta , marlboro )Blue ( cyan , rothman ) and any other colour as required.

Package:
20 kg. or any others.

Shelf life:
12 months if stored in dry cold place.

Notes:
1- Diluted inks should not be left for long time before use to avoid precipitation.
2-Do not use solvents which affect the rubber parts.

 

Metallic surfaces printing inks Isipac 7000

Description:
A white enamel used on metallic surfaces.

Characteristics:
1- High adhesive strength.
2- Highly flexible.
3- Bright white color.
4- Water , detergents and chemicals resistant.


Drying time:

Dries within 10 min. at 160 ˚ C.

Gloss:
High gloss - 80 % at angle 60 ˚ on gloss instrument.

Application:
Used on metallic surface , cans , tins ,  soft drinks capsules and on aluminium.
Package: 20 kg. Or any others.

Shelf life:
6 months in a dry cold place.

 

Water - base inks Isipac 100

Description :
Water - base inks based on acrylic polymers used on printing with flexo-graphic machines.

Characteristics :
1- Water is used for dilution as 25% so it is safe and non-harmful to environment.
2- High pigmentation power.
3- Resists scratch and friction.
4- No smell.

Drying time:
Dries in air in few minutes.

Gloss:
High gloss : 80% at angle 60 ˚ on gloss instrument.

Application:

On all types of paper , hardboard ,  ( carton )

Colours:
All basic colours ,  others upon request

Package:
20 kg. - or any others upon request.

Shelf life:
6 months if stored in a dry cold place.

 

Silk Screen Inks 2000

Description:
Paste Inks used in printing on the silk screen (shapelon).

Characteristics:
1- High pigmentation power.
2- High resistance to scratch and friction.
3- High resistance to light.
4- No smell.

Drying time:
Dry in air within 5 minutes .

Gloss:
High gloss:80% at angel 60˚ on the gloss measuring instrument

Application:
1- Can be applied using silk screen on all paper films , plastic , glass and metals after dilution with isipac silk screen thinner.

Colours:
All basic colours and other colours  upon request.

Package:
1/4 , 1/2 , 1 kg and others  upon request.


Shelf life:

18 months if stored in a dry cold place.

 

Offset inks Isipac off 2000

Description:
Paste inks of high viscosity used for printing on all types of paper and hardboard. special types are used on aluminium or plastic surfaces .

Characteristics:
1- Flows easly on cylinders which maintains the colour intensity.
2- Immiscible with water .
3- No heat rlease during printing.
4- Fast air drying .

Drying time:
Air surface drying within 5 min.

Application:
Could be applied using one colour or multiple colours machines to give a tough glossy film.

INK ISIPAC ACR100

Description:
It is a water base ink based on acrylic resin.
Printing technique: flexography.

Main characteristic:

  • Formulation based on organic pigments.

  • Good water resistance.

  • Excellent gloss and color.

  • Good printability.

  • Excellent adhesion on the substrate.

  • The solid content of the inks is not less than 35% .

Instructions for use:

1- Dilute the ink to the printing viscosity by adding water.
2- The dilution is made according to the printed substrate and printing
    speed.
3- The viscosity is not less than 20 sec. by ( ford cup 4 ).
4- To accelerate the drying process, dilute the ink with water and Ethyl
    acetate or water & Iso propanol ( ratio 3:1 ).
5- In case of foaming add antifoam ( 0.1- 0.2 % ).
6- To reduce the colour intensity without decreasing the viscosity use
    ISIPAC varnish 100/1.

Substrata:
Paper and cardboard.

 

INK ISIPAC NC 400

Description:
It is a heat resistant ink based on Nitro-cellulose.

Main characteristic:
- Formulation based on organic pigments.
- No odour after drying .
- Excellent gloss and color. 
- Good printability
- Good heat resistance (180? c) 180%c
- Suitable for lamination .


Instructions for use:

1-To obtain the rotogravure printing viscosity- dilute the ink with Ethyl acetate only or mix of Ethyl acetate & Iso propanol with ratio 70: 30 .  

2-To obtain the flexography printing viscosity dilute the ink with a mix of Ethyl acetate and Iso propanol with ratio 30: 70 .   

3-To retard the system add Ethyle Glycol Mono Ethyl Ether . 

4-To reduce the colour intensity without reducing the viscosity use ISIPAC varnish 
   NC400/1.

5-For direct surface printing it is necessary to add anti scratch ( isipac 304 ) by 2-3 % to the ink .

6-The adhesion promoter must be added to ink 3-4 % ( ISIPAC…. )

 

INK ISIPAC PA 500

Description:
It is an ink based on Polyamide.

Main characteristic:
Formulation based on organic pigments.
No odour throught out drying.
Excellent gloss and colour. 
Excellent adhesion on the substrate.
The solid content of the ink is not less than 35%.

Instructions for use:

1-To obtain the flexographic printing viscosity dilute the ink with isobutanol or
    isopropanol (  %) 

2- To reduce the color intensity without reducing the viscosity use ISIPAC varnish
    500/1.

2-Poly propylene
